Entering into therapy can be scary, but it doesn’t have to be. Whether you are dealing with current problems or kicking up the dust around issues that have long been neglected, I will help you navigate your emotional world with compassion, sensitivity, and patience. You may fear the emotions that result from this exploration, but we will take things at your pace. You will always be the guide in our sessions, but I will help you along when needed. You can show up to our meetings happy, sad, anxious, angry, hurt, or with any other emotion or combination of emotions, and we will make sense of it together.
I also happily (but not exclusively) work with folks with any number of oppressions or facing discrimination of any kind including that related to race, gender, sex, ability, sexual orientation and relationship configuration.
I work with people who are non-monogamous, poly, and in other non-traditional relationships. I also work with monogamous folks.
I am queer, trans and Black (mixed).
My previous experience includes working with HIV positive people, working with substance users in a harm reduction context, and working with queer youth.
My greatest hope and privilege is to be supportive of you in your journey of self-discovery.
I am a student therapist at the Toronto Institute for Relational Psychotherapy. I am currently working with a supervising therapist from my school.
