Welcome! I am Laila, a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and MACP student. I believe you are the expert of your own life. My role is to walk alongside you as you deepen your self-understanding, challenge old narratives, and work toward meaningful change.
I support clients navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, boundaries, life transitions, chronic illness/pain, and identity-related concerns. Whether you are untangling expectations, navigating intersectional pressures, or exploring who you are beneath the roles you carry, we can practice reframing thoughts that no longer serve you, moving away from self-criticism and toward deep, lasting self-compassion.
As a Muslim therapist, I recognize firsthand the gaps in mental health care, particularly for individuals whose intersectional identities, values, and lived experiences are overlooked in traditional spaces. My practice is warm, collaborative, and grounded in strengths-based, anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, and decolonial principles. Drawing on modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, and SFT, I tailor my approach to honour your unique context, strengths, and goals.
I am deeply committed to making mental health care more accessible, inclusive, and responsive to the systemic barriers people face. Reaching out can feel overwhelming, but you do not have to navigate it alone. You don’t have to have everything figured out. When you feel ready, you are welcome to reach out.
