Through years of life transitions, we can experience moments of joy and vitality, as well as challenges and obstacles that could make us feel stuck. We may begin to question ourselves and view the world around us differently and could lead to feelings of loss, hopelessness, and disconnection similar to a fallen tree. Therapy is a space for connection – connecting to your inner self and with others. I can support you in co-creating space to express your way of being as you experience your depths of emotions and relating by bringing awareness to the present moment with creativity, curiosity, and compassion nourishing your deep roots.
My lived experience informs my approach. As a cis-gender queer man and a first-generation Filipino immigrant, I work from a socially conscious, queer-affirming, and inclusive lens. My work as a therapist is relational, experiential, and embodied. I also bring a colourful approach by inviting playfulness and the inner child to bring life to your own colours.
I am open to working with any individual and have experience working with anxiety, anger, sadness, sexuality, masculinity, vulnerability, autism/neurodiversity, racialized lived experience, and complex family systems. Together, we can discover what lies beneath, what is growing, and what awaits to blossom. We can experience what it is to be human together.
