Do you often feel lonely or disconnected; not only from others but also from your inner self? Do you find yourself stuck in recurring cycles of pain or despair, even though you long for change? When you try to get close to others, do fears of vulnerability or abandonment hold you back from forming truly authentic connections? Whether you’re grappling with long-standing emotional challenges, dealing with grief and loss, suffering from traumatic experiences, or simply longing for a deeper connection to yourself and the world, I am dedicated to walking with you.
I offer an integrative approach that combines emotion-focussed, psychodynamic therapy with spiritual elements like Buddhist philosophy, mindfulness and meaning-making. We will leverage the moment-to-moment experience to better understand your relationship with yourself and others. We will explore your emotional landscape, cultivate self-awareness, and nurture inner thriving. I have education through a Masters of Psycho-Spiritual Studies with clinical psychospiritual education (CPE) at Scarborough Health and CAMH, as well as over 6 years of Buddhist meditation training with intensive retreats. I practice a combination of spiritually-integrated psychotherapy and intensive short-term dynamic psychotherapy (ISTDP).
