Are you struggling with low mood, anxiety, stress, or relationship issues? Do you feel stuck, or trapped in patterns that leave you unhappy? I can help you find a way forward and gradually let go of what’s holding you back. As a gay man, I know how identity and discrimination can also impact mental health in queer communities.
I’m a registered social worker and psychotherapist who has supported clients with anxiety, depression, trauma, addictions, sexuality and gender concerns, work stress, grief, and other life issues since 2018. Trained in a number of evidence-based therapies, I use an integrative approach based on what you bring to session.
My approach to therapy is strengths-based and non-judgmental. I work with you to figure out what’s important to you, and what’s blocking you from where you want to be. Your ability to connect with your therapist is a large part of therapy, and I pay close attention to that process so that you can feel comfortable opening up.
Starting therapy can feel challenging, and finding the right therapist can be difficult. With that in mind, I offer a free 15-minute consultation to discuss whether your situation would be a good fit for my approach. Contact me by phone or email to schedule one. I am available in-person and virtually throughout the week.
