Hi, I’m Lindsey (she/her). I’m a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and psychotherapy intern offering virtual therapy to individuals ages 16+.
Before beginning my journey into psychotherapy, I spent several years working in family law, supporting individuals navigating separation, divorce, and the legal system, including those who had experienced intimate partner violence. Through this work, I witnessed the profound impact that stress, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions can have on emotional wellbeing. It was this experience that inspired me to transition my career into psychotherapy, where I could support people in a different and more holistic way.
Are you feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain about what comes next? Perhaps you’re struggling to keep up with the demands of work, school, or everyday life, finding it difficult to manage your time and energy, or feeling weighed down by anxiety, self-doubt, or perfectionism. I support individuals navigating anxiety, self-esteem challenges, stress and burnout, executive functioning difficulties, relational stress, and major life transitions such as breakups, separation, divorce, graduate studies, and career changes.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in genuine curiosity. I aim to create a space where you feel comfortable showing up as you are, without pressure to have everything figured out. I see therapy as a relationship built on trust, where we can explore patterns, strengthen coping skills, and work toward meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you. Therapy can be a space to slow down, make sense of what you’re experiencing, and begin relating to yourself with greater clarity, self-compassion, and confidence.
I take a person-centred approach informed by a trauma-informed lens and draw from Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). While these approaches inform my work, I strive to meet each client in a way that feels practical, flexible, and responsive to their unique needs and goals.
Some areas I commonly support clients with include:
• Anxiety
• ADHD and executive functioning challenges
• Self-esteem and self-confidence
• Perfectionism and people-pleasing
• Stress and burnout
• Life transitions
• Breakups, separation, and divorce
• Relational stress and boundaries
• Emotional regulation and self-trust
I believe therapy can be a place for both healing and growth. Whether you’re moving through a difficult season, feeling overwhelmed by life’s demands, or trying to understand patterns that no longer serve you, I hope to offer a thoughtful, non-judgmental space where you feel seen, supported, and gently challenged.
