People often come to therapy carrying a mix of stress, uncertainty, and quiet questions about themselves or their lives. You might feel overwhelmed, worn down, or unsure where to begin, only aware that something feels heavy and hard to hold alone. Therapy can be a place to slow things down, speak freely, and begin making sense of what you’re carrying, without pressure to have the right words or clear answers. Our work unfolds at your pace, guided by what feels most important for you in the moment.
My path into counselling has been shaped by years of working in education and leadership roles, supporting children, adults, families, and professionals in high-pressure and emotionally demanding environments. Over time, I’ve seen how stress, responsibility, relationships, and shifting identities can quietly wear on well-being. This background informs how I listen and how I understand the many ways pressure and overwhelm show up in people’s lives.
I work with individuals navigating anxiety, burnout, life transitions, emotional regulation challenges, and relational concerns. Sessions are shaped collaboratively, drawing from person-centred, relational, attachment-informed, solution-focused, narrative, and cognitive-behavioural approaches. Rather than following a fixed formula, therapy is responsive, grounded in conversation, reflection, and curiosity about your experiences, patterns, and strengths, helping you feel understood, supported, and more connected to yourself.
I also come to this work having spent time in my own personal therapy. Sitting on the other side of the room has given me a deep appreciation for the vulnerability it takes to reach out, to speak honestly, and to trust someone new. I understand how meaningful it can be to feel genuinely seen, and how important it is to find a therapeutic relationship that feels like the right fit.
I am an emerging Psychotherapist (Qualifying) practising under supervision. I see therapy as a shared process: you bring your lived experience, insight, and wisdom, and I bring presence, perspective, and support. My role is not to direct your path, but to walk alongside you as you explore, reflect, and move toward greater clarity, steadiness, and connection with yourself.
