Hi, I’m Lisa (she/her). I’m a therapist whose work is rooted in inclusivity, anti-oppression, and trauma-informed care. I believe healing happens in spaces where you feel safe, respected, and genuinely understood.
My approach is integrative and grounded in humanistic therapy. I draw from person-centered, feminist, and non-pathologizing frameworks through a social justice lens. In practice, that means I show up with compassion and curiosity, honoring your lived experiences and the systems that shape them. I see therapy as collaborative and non-hierarchical — a space where your voice matters most, where you can explore what’s on your mind, and where you remain the expert on your own life.
Clients often describe me as warm, down-to-earth, and professional without being stuffy. I aim to create a space where you can exhale — where we can have honest conversations, move at your pace, and work toward meaningful change together.
I am committed to being weight-inclusive, trauma-informed, neurodivergent-affirming, and LGBTQIA2+ allied.
I am especially passionate about supporting people navigating disordered eating, eating disorders, chronic dieting, anti-fat bias, and body image distress. I also work with parents and neurodivergent folks facing the unique stressors that come with those identities, as well as individuals living with chronic illness.
I identify as a white, cisgender, neurodivergent, small-fat woman, and I strive to hold awareness of both the privileges and lived experiences that shape how I move through the world and into the therapy room.
When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me painting, creating quirky cross-stitch projects, reading, cooking (and eating!), or sharing 80s and 90s nostalgia with my kids.
