Hi, I’m Lydia! Within therapy I aim to create a safe and non-judgmental space that promotes your self-exploration and healing ✴
I will work alongside you –meeting you with authenticity, curiosity, and creativity. Throughout therapy we’ll collaboratively work toward identifying your values and your goals. I’ll support you in holding yourself accountable and in a supportive and empathetic way. I hope to bring different ways of thinking to the table, continually supporting your growth & opening you up to new perspectives and possibilities.
My approach is to therapy is collaborative and compassionate. I aim to support you in recognizing your resiliency and strength in developing new ways of coping. I work from a trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, feminist lens. I use an eclectic person-centred approach and incorporate mindfulness and self-compassion.
I support clients from all walks of life struggling with depression, anxiety, social isolation and loneliness, body image and self-esteem issues, burnout and much more. I also support clients in individual therapy processing relationship issues with partners, family, friends, and with themselves.
It takes great strength to reach out for help and to begin the therapy process. I believe that therapy should never be seen as a failure, but rather as an avenue of growth and restoration. I’m so honoured that you want to go on this journey with me!
