Do you find yourself feeling overly worried, sad or stressed? Are you navigating through a difficult time in your life and feeling alone, scared or stuck? Difficult thoughts and feelings are a normal part of life, but when these experiences start to feel like too much or take away from our ability to function in daily life, it is important to consider seeking help. Within relationships, difficulties resolving conflict and lack of connection can drive couples apart and can leave us feeling hopeless that things will ever get better. Counselling is a great place to start if you and your partner feel that something needs to change.
At Nature’s Healing Counselling, Maggie supports clients to discover their existing strengths, deepen their understanding of their thoughts and learn how to cope utilizing an eclectic approach to practice informed by CBT, Mindfulness and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. Maggie is also trained in Gottman Method Couples Therapy.
Maggie understands that seeking counselling can be scary and uncomfortable. Individual sessions are available in a walk & talk format within Durham Region trails and parks. Maggie’s goal is to create a safe and accepting space for individuals, couples and families of all walks of life to feel heard and supported while working towards their goals in therapy.
