She also has particular experience supporting individuals with executive dysfunction and ADHD, and brings a neurodiversity-affirming perspective focused on understanding how your mind works and building strategies that support your goals.
Makayla draws from a range of therapeutic approaches–including emotion-focused therapy, cognitive behaviour therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, dialectical and behaviour therapy, mindfulness, psychodynamic and trauma-informed approaches. She also has an understanding of how life experiences shape who you are. Through this, she supports you in developing a deeper understanding of yourself.
