When you’re constantly holding everything together — at work, in your relationships, within your identity — it can take a quiet but heavy toll. During life transitions like birth, early parenthood, or divorce, that weight can feel even greater.
Welcome – I’m Margaret. I bring to this work a deep respect for your lived experiences, while also bringing curiosity to discover new pathways towards a life that feels more authentic and aligned with your values.
My practice is grounded in collaborative and relational care – walking alongside you as we make sense of it all with cultural awareness, compassion and intention. As a second-generation Asian immigrant, my own experience within a diaspora deepens my attunement to intergenerational trauma, cultural complexity, and the nuanced challenges that often emerge in relationships and family dynamics.
Informed by my background in biochemistry and years of experience as a Registered Nurse, I bring a trauma-informed and evidence-based – yet holistic – lens to working with grief, infant loss, reproductive decisions and complex pregnancies. I also support clients navigating kink and sexual identity, individually and in couples in a sex-positive, affirming way.
I specialize in supporting clients experiencing burnout, anxiety or high stress in work or school, front-line workers, BIPOC and Asian immigrants (or children of immigrants), and those navigating perinatal difficulties and/or birth trauma. I also have a focus on working with relationship and family challenges, including intergenerational trauma, multicultural partnerships, divorce and blended family dynamics.
Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, facing relationship challenges or navigating pregnancy – I’m here to help. Your story is unique and you can count on me to listen and tailor my care to meet your needs. If you’re ready to start or continue this journey of exploration and healing, please reach out – I offer a complimentary 15-minute consultation.
