Feeling powerless and thinking you can’t change your circumstances can be paralyzing. In these moments, you may feel trapped and stuck, unsure of how to move forward or lacking the energy to make changes. In such situations, hope can be hard to find. What I can tell you is that you are not alone. I specialize in helping individuals facing life transitions, anxiety, trauma, and immigration-related issues. My neuroscience background deepens my understanding of the brain, which I integrate into my therapeutic approach.
As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and an MA in Counseling Psychology student, I have an integrated approach using different modalities, such as psychodynamic therapy, mindfulness-based cognitive interventions, and person-centered therapy within an anti-oppression, trauma-informed, and queer-affirming framework. My experience as an Iranian immigrant informs my practice, allowing me to offer therapy in both English and Farsi. Together, we’ll explore how your past experiences, relationships, and unconscious patterns shape your current emotions and behaviours, and work toward meaningful change in your life.
If this resonates with you, I invite you to book a complimentary 30-minute consultation to see if we are a good fit.
Please email tkpsychotherapy@proton.me and state my name so the clinic can forward me your request.
