I believe that each person holds a story that is uniquely and beautifully theirs, a lifetime filled with moments of undeniable joy and unavoidable heartache. And I believe that sometimes along that journey, we can find ourselves stuck and longing for more. We don’t know where to move or what to do, but we know something has to change. Or maybe you don’t even know if things are “bad enough” to reach out for help, but you’re worried that if one more thing gets asked of you you’ll fall apart. Wherever you may find yourself in the journey of wanting more, I’d love to bear the heaviness with you, wade into the overwhelm, and try to make sense of all the murkiness around you to see the hope. It’s still there, it’s just a little too hidden right now. I help those struggling with anxiety, low mood and depression, relationship issues, stress, self-esteem issues, and those looking to begin a journey of self-discovery and growth. I do this work with couples and individuals, including youth and adults of all ages.

I utilize a person-centred approach, focusing on what you hope to gain from the therapeutic journey and view all things through a compassionate and strength-based lens. Within sessions I draw upon a number of evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as EFT, CBT, SFBT, IFS, and Narrative Therapy. I believe that by connecting with and experiencing our emotions, our overwhelm, and our sometimes undeniable burden of not feeling good enough, we can transform our relationship with these feeling. How do we do that? In safety. In trust. With time, and with the gentlest of approaches that feels right for you.
