I bring a wealth of personal life experience to my person-centred, nonjudgmental and compassionate approach to psychotherapy. I find the work of assisting clients on their journeys of healing and becoming their most authentic selves highly rewarding. I have a special interest in working with people who are marginalized due to racialization, poverty, trauma history, identifying as LGBTQIA2S+, existing as a person on the autism spectrum, and living with ADHD. I have recently completed training in the treatment of Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. My 25-year career as a Registered Midwife across many parts of Canada has given me priceless opportunities to support birthing people and their families in understanding that we ALL deserve to be treated with kindness and respect.
