You may know something needs to change, but keep finding yourself back in the same place. Maybe you slip into the same patterns and unhelpful habits. Perhaps your mind often feels restless and weighed down by worry, school or work has become a constant source of stress, or your motivation has quietly disappeared. It could be that you put everyone else’s needs first or find your relationships difficult to navigate. You may look like you have it together on the outside while feeling uncertain, anxious, stuck, or disconnected on the inside. Wherever you find yourself, you don’t have to figure it out alone.
I am currently completing my MDiv in Clinical Counselling under the supervision of Janine Ruddy, M.Ed., RP and working with clients as part of my practicum, as I move toward full registration as a psychotherapist. I take a gentle, compassionate and intentional approach, creating space for you to feel heard and be able to look at patterns that may be keeping you stuck. Together, we’ll explore the connections between your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, relationships, & experiences, with the goal of helping you develop greater self-understanding and ways of responding that feel healthier.
I believe therapy should be collaborative and grounded in your individual goals and values. We will work together to understand not only what you’re struggling with, but why certain patterns may have developed. Wherever you’re starting from, I’d be honored to support you in finding greater clarity and moving forward in a way that feels meaningful to you.
I can help with:
- Anxiety
- Depression
- School/Work Stress
- Unhelpful Coping & Behavioral Patterns (e.g. overthinking, procrastination, emotional eating)
- Feeling Overwhelmed or Burnout
- Self-Worth/Confidence
- Life Transitions
- Relational Struggles (peer, family, friendships, romantic & marital)
- Break-Ups
- People Pleasing/Codependency
- Emotional Regulation
As a Seminary graduate student with an HBA in Theology, I also welcome the opportunity to integrate Christian faith and biblical wisdom into counselling for clients who would find this meaningful. Faith is never assumed or imposed; I will always respect your beliefs, values, and experiences and follow your lead in deciding whether and how faith becomes part of our work.
I offer virtual therapy Monday-Thursday and Saturdays.
