Hi! I’m McKaylah, and I am a graduate of the Masters in Couple and Family Therapy program. I have over two years worth of experience supporting individuals, couples and families.
I work from a strengths based perspective which means I see therapy as a space where your voices, identities, personal experiences, and innate strengths are honoured. From a place of curiosity, I work with individuals, intimate partners, and families from a relational and systemic perspective. This means I am always considering the ways the various contexts you have been situated in have shaped your experience. To do this, I uphold social justice and trauma-informed lens.
I strongly value the therapist-client relationship and strive to maintain open communication and build trust by showing up authentically and collaborating with you. I aim to cultivate a space where you feel safe, and support you as you share your story, engage in honest reflection, and journey on your preferred way of being.
