About…

The insights of neuroscience and the connection between the mind, emotions, lived experiences, and the nervous system are at the heart of how I approach therapy. I believe many of the challenges we experience, such as anxiety, burnout, stress, perfectionism, people-pleasing, and emotional overwhelm, develop through a combination of our experiences, relationships, and the ways we have learned to navigate the world. By exploring these connections with curiosity and compassion, therapy can become a space to better understand yourself, reconnect with your strengths, and create meaningful change.

Areas I Support

  • Anxiety & chronic stress
  • Burnout & emotional exhaustion
  • Depression & low mood
  • Life transitions & feelings of misalignment
  • Perfectionism & people-pleasing patterns
  • Difficulty balancing responsibilities & personal needs
  • Emotional overwhelm & nervous system dysregulation
  • Self-esteem, confidence, and self-criticism

My Approach

My approach is warm, collaborative, and person-centred. I believe therapy is most effective when you feel understood, supported, and able to explore your experiences at a pace that feels right for you. I draw from:

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) – exploring the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviours while developing practical strategies to support greater awareness and change.
  • Solution-Focused Therapy – identifying strengths, resources, and possibilities while helping you move toward the goals and life you want to create.
  • Mindfulness-Based Approaches – developing greater awareness of thoughts, emotions, and bodily experiences while supporting grounding, emotional regulation, and connection with the present moment.
  • Neuroscience & Nervous System-Informed Care – exploring how the brain, nervous system, and lived experiences influence emotional responses, stress patterns, and ways we relate to ourselves and others.
  • Strengths-Based Care – recognizing your existing resilience, abilities, and inner resources while supporting growth and self-trust.

Together, we can explore your experiences, build insight, and develop tools to help you move forward with greater clarity, confidence, emotional balance, and self-understanding

A Little About Me

I bring experience supporting children, teens, and families through mentorship, respite care, and special needs programming, which has deepened my understanding of emotional, relational, and developmental experiences across different stages of life. I also integrate psychodynamic therapy, family systems, motivational interviewing, and person-centred approaches into my work to support a deeper understanding of each individual’s unique story.

Outside of therapy, I value the role of movement, running, and time outdoors in supporting mental well-being and nervous system regulation. I believe wellness involves caring for both our emotional and physical selves.

I offer low-cost virtual therapy across Ontario, including support for individuals in Toronto, Ottawa, and surrounding areas. As an MACP student completing my clinical training under supervision, I provide affordable therapy with sliding scale options to help make mental health support more accessible.
