My goal is to provide a non-judgemental, empathetic and calm therapeutic space where clients feel understood and safe to explore their lived experience and goals collaboratively. I value a combined focus on physical and mental health as I believe the two compliment one another, increasing innate personal strengths and fostering a life of balance and joy. I believe finding your personal small joys in the mundane is a key part to a fulfilling life.
I value an integrated approach, pulling from multiple therapeutic models, to meet clients where they are and support a client in strengthening resilience, self-esteem, self-compassion, emotional regulation and promote fulfilling interpersonal relationships.
As a student therapist I am currently exploring components of emotion-focused therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy and attachment-based therapy with an inclusion of nervous system regulation.
