Have you been feeling stuck, caught between who you’ve had to be and who you’re still becoming? You might find yourself questioning your identity, replaying old relational patterns, or carrying the weight of emotional wounds that no one else can see.
Hello! My name is Melissa, and I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and MA in Counselling Psychology student practicing under clinical supervision. I support individuals exploring identity, relationships, and the lingering effects of painful or complex family dynamics. As an international, transracial adoptee with lived experience of emotional unpredictability, I understand how those early dynamics can shape how we relate, cope, and make decisions today. My sessions aim to create space to explore how past experiences have shaped self-beliefs, behaviours, and relationships: grounded in compassion and collaboration, offering space to slow down and start where you are. Together, we’ll identify patterns, challenge limiting beliefs with compassion, build emotional awareness, and develop a treatment plan that reflects your needs and lived experience.
My goal is to offer a space where you feel supported, understood, and never alone in your healing. We may all be on our own paths, but we don’t have to walk them alone. I offer a free 20-minute consultation to explore your needs, answer any questions, and help you decide if this space feels like a good fit for you.
