Do you feel stuck, unsure, or overwhelmed? Maybe you’re navigating challenges in your relationships with a partner, family, or friends. Perhaps it’s hard to regulate your emotions, feel confident, or start meaningful conversations. It might feel like certain patterns keep repeating, making it difficult to break free or understand their connection to your past. Maybe you want to be more assertive, or perhaps you want to be more open and receptive. Maybe you’re ready to learn how to regulate emotions and process your experiences for the first time. Whatever brings you here, you’ve taken a courageous step.
I approach my clinical practice through an anti-racist, anti-oppressive, and trauma-informed lens. I customize my approach and interventions according to each client’s individual needs. My practice draws from various modalities, including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical-Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).
I recognize the courage it takes to seek therapy. It’s a vulnerable journey, and I want to honour that. Together, we’ll gradually build a foundation of trust. Taking the initial step can be the toughest, but once taken, the rest tends to follow suit. I will leave you with one of my favourite quotes by Carl G. Jung, “I am not what happened to me. I am what I choose to become.”
