About…

Meet Melissa: Compassionate, affordable therapy for life’s ups and downs.

Melissa is a Graduate Intern Therapist and Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) who offers a warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative approach to therapy. She works with clients who want practical support, deeper self-understanding, and meaningful change, without pressure to have everything figured out.

Melissa believes that healing begins with understanding and that people often have more inner strength than they realize, even during difficult seasons. Using a client-centered, trauma-informed, non-pathologizing, and anti-oppressive approach, she tailors sessions to each client’s needs, supporting growth, resilience, and self-compassion at a pace that feels right.

She supports individuals, couples, and families navigating concerns such as stress and burnout, anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem challenges, and relationship difficulties. Melissa focuses on helping clients find their voice, regain balance, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

As a graduate intern therapist, Melissa offers low-cost counselling to make therapy more accessible.
