Hi, I’m Mia, and I’m glad you’re here. I’m a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) based in Etobicoke, offering virtual therapy across Ontario.
I work primarily with people who feel stuck in painful relationship patterns – feeling anxious or overwhelmed in close relationships, pulling away when things feel too vulnerable, or losing themselves in the needs of others. Many of the clients I support carry attachment wounds shaped by early relationships, past experiences of emotional neglect, or relational trauma. Therapy is a space to slow down, make sense of these patterns, and build safer, more secure ways of relating to yourself and the people in your life.
Alongside relational work, I also have extensive experience supporting individuals navigating substance use. I approach this work with curiosity and compassion, recognizing substance use as something that develops in context rather than in isolation. Whether you’re questioning your relationship with substances, working toward change, or looking for support without pressure or judgment, therapy can offer a place to explore this at your own pace.
My approach is relational, emotionally focused, and attachment-based, informed by trauma-informed and anti-oppressive perspectives. I see healing as both personal and relational – shaped by your environment, your relationships, and your story.
