A person of many interests, I bring a wide range of experience to the profession, which include supporting individuals (and their families) with traumatic injuries; violent offender rehabilitation; crisis intervention; and working with children with developmental differences.
As a therapist, I specialize in providing treatment and support for those suffering from trauma, grief, loss, anxiety, depression, and self-esteem issues. I also have a burgeoning interest in supporting couples through relationship issues.
My therapeutic approach incorporates aspects of Narrative, Gestalt, Cognitive Behavioural, and Humanistic therapy. As such, I work to create a non-judgmental atmosphere where clients feel comfortable, and are able to untangle the knots of thought and feeling that hold them in place.
In my personal life, I enjoy hiking, biking, playing with my dog Bongo, and checking out live music.
