I specialize in grief and loss, including the death of a loved one, working through a life transition, & more. I also work with anxiety-related challenges, as well as trauma and the body. I work to build a supportive and trusting therapeutic relationship with all clients, while helping people feel seen and understood. I am a spouse, parent, former journalist, and a Caucasian woman who is committed to anti-oppressive, feminist, and harm-reduction values.
Depending on your needs, we will work together, with the goal of helping you understand and work through your grief and trauma, as well as other challenges that present in your day-to-day. I have a deep interest in a client’s history, what is happening for them in the here and now, and how their emotions show up in their body.
I believe that the therapist/client relationship is extremely important, and that finding a good fit is essential, so I offer a complimentary, 20-minute consultation so we can get to know each other. I offer virtual appointments, Monday to Friday, and in-person appointments on Mondays and Wednesdays.
