About…

Welcome! I am glad you stopped by to learn about me and what I offer. I am a gestalt psychotherapist. One thing that stood out from my training is self acceptance. It has allowed me to stay with my authentic self and bring these qualities to my practice. I provide a non-judgemental environment for you to explore your own authenticity. I help you discover your own pattern of behaviour that might be holding you back.

I believe we all walk around wearing different masks, which we feel we need to help us cope with daily life. Together we work to uncover what lies beneath the masks and reach for your authentic self.

I am respectful with where you are at in your life and I take you seriously in your struggle. I believe you are the expert in your life and it is my role to be with you, to listen and to offer insight. You are the author of your own story and I gear the therapy session to match your unique individual needs/struggles.

I have an inclusive and sex positive practice, and I respect diversity in all aspects.

How I work

My main interest is to help individuals to understand and address their ongoing problems and patterns. My work focuses on people in life transitions such as relationship changes, empty nest syndrome, job transitions, immigration, and trauma. I believe the therapeutic relationship is a co-creation where you will gain a deeper understanding of where you are at in your life and what has brought you there. We all create patterns for a reason. Often we created them in our early childhood to keep ourselves safe and cope in our environment. You might find these patterns are no longer serving you or actually holding you back.  I work in the here and now to help you to unpack these patterns and create something new.

I work with the body to explore your emotional state through sensory awareness. Along with the embodied approach I like incorporate creativity, art, imagery, metaphors to deepen our work together.
