Finding a therapist who understands both your inner world and your cultural world can be hard. As a South Asian therapist who speaks Malayalam fluently along with functional Hindi and Tamil, I offer a space where you do not have to explain or translate the parts of life that shape you most.
I work with individuals and couples navigating stress, burnout, and anxiety, as well as relationship and marital challenges, premarital questions, communication breakdowns, and the particular pressures that can come with family expectations and bicultural life.
For newcomers and immigrants, I understand the loneliness, identity shifts, and quiet grief that can come with building a life in a new country. Many of my clients are professionals and family members carrying a great deal while trying to honour where they come from.
My work also includes trauma, anxiety and panic, self-esteem, codependency, family conflict, and life transitions. I draw on a broad toolkit including CBT, DBT, internal family systems, acceptance and commitment therapy, somatic and psychodynamic work, emotion-focused therapy, and the Gottman Method for couples.
You can expect a warm, respectful, and culturally grounded space. Whether you come on your own or with your partner, I would be honoured to support you.
