Beginning therapy can feel intimidating, but you deserve a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space to explore your concerns without compromising your values or beliefs. My role is to walk alongside you, offering support, guidance, and empowerment as you move toward greater clarity and well-being.
I work with adolescents (12+), young adults, and families as they navigate challenges related to relationships, grief, loss, trauma, anxiety, and other stressors that may interfere with daily functioning. I have a particular interest in supporting individuals from BIPOC communities and draw from my South Asian background to offer culturally responsive and culturally sensitive care. I recognize the complex ways culture, family dynamics, intergenerational experiences, and identity can shape mental health and well-being. My goal is to help clients build insight, strengthen coping strategies, and foster meaningful, sustainable change.
My approach to counselling is holistic and client-centered. I draw from a range of therapeutic perspectives, including narrative therapy, emotion-focused therapy, mindfulness-based approaches, and solution-focused brief therapy. This integrative style allows me to tailor each session to your unique needs rather than relying on a single modality.
