As the world is going through a very big change, the struggles in our personal lives can sometimes be greatly hard to deal with. The focus of my practice is people who are experiencing transitions and dealing with challenges that are affecting them physically, cognitively, emotionally, and spiritually. As an Expressive Arts Practitioner, I have created an integral practice, which brings somatic, mindfulness, intermodal art disciplines, and coaching together.
The practice assumes that everyone has the capacity to respond creatively to the situations where they find themselves stuck. Sometimes people do not have the words/language to understand and express their experiences. By engaging in various disciplines and arts, clients are taken into the journey of healing. Here they can find resources they did not know they had and find possible solutions that were previously hidden from them. This work helps to create a life that is meaningful and satisfactory.
I believe that the compassionate relationship between the client and practitioner is the main source the healing. Clients are the experts of their life and my role as a practitioner is to accompany their journey with different tools and to create and hold a safe space, which makes healing possible.
Cultural sensitivity, anti-oppression, and trauma-informed frameworks are the core values of my practice. I work with adults (18 +) around issues of anxiety, depression, self-esteem, stress management, trauma, loss, separation, adaptation to a new country/culture/conditions, and palliative illness.
