Hi, I’m Nicole!
Do you notice that you worry about being a burden, avoid taking up space, caretake for others, and ignore your own feelings and needs? I work with individuals who have experienced childhood emotional neglect. I’ll help you explore identity, meaning, emotions, or existential themes and questions. Whether you’re questioning your purpose or struggling to make sense of emotions, the therapy space with me is meant to feel comfortable and promote safety, allowing you to explore those emotions and parts of yourself at your pace, while I accompany you.
My approach is person-centered and collaborative, blending evidence-based tools like CBT and other modalities such as Existential Therapy and Emotion Focused therapy, within a holistic biopsychosocial framework. I believe therapy works best when it’s personalized, authentic, and grounded in real connection. Together, we’ll explore not only challenges and patterns, but also your strengths, lived experiences, Grief, Traumas, and major life events that have shaped who you are.
I aim to create a therapy space that feels safe, real, and judgment-free. You don’t have to have it all figured out (spoiler: no one actually does). My work is strengths-based, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive, with gentle attention to what shows up in the body. I’m direct and honest while remaining compassionate, and I’m never afraid to bring in a little humour when it helps make the hard stuff feel more manageable.
Whether you’re questioning your identity, struggling with expectations, or feeling disconnected from yourself, therapy can be a place to gain clarity, build confidence, and move forward at your own pace. Drawing from both my training and lived experience, I’ll meet you where you’re at and support you in navigating life in a way that feels most aligned for you.
When I’m not in the therapy room, you’ll likely find me cooking, spending time with friends and family, or unwinding with my favourite shows.
