(She/Her) I believe that safe and genuine connections can transform our mental health and wellbeing. Building a trusting relationship is at the core of what we do together. My approach is unapologetically strengths-based, I aim to empower my clients to find the change they’re seeking. My work with clients is collaborative and integrative, meaning we will work together to help you reach your therapy goals and I will draw on a range of different tools and techniques to help facilitate that process. I am a Psychotherapist and I have a masters degree in Creative Arts Therapy, specifically Drama Therapy – which is a holistic approach to treatment that uses imagery, the body, story, and sensation to create safety and to go deeper into therapeutic material. When words aren’t enough drama therapy can be a powerful approach. I use a mix of talk therapy and creative arts therapy in my practice. I’ve worked with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, addiction, and more. I have clinical experience working with adults with developmental disabilities at the CAHD, and with students in McGill Universities Counselling Department. I provide trauma-informed care, and I aim to use a systemic approach in my work to try to understand and contextualize the larger systems and structures that influence our well-being. I strive to create an inclusive practice. I offer free 20 minute consultations so you can see if we’re the right fit.
