About…

How I Can Support You

Maybe you have spent years being the capable one: carrying the family, keeping the peace, making the plan, and getting things done. Then life changes. Someone dies. A relationship ends. You move to a new country. A role that once fit now feels too small. You keep going, but you do not feel at home in your own life.

I work with adults in those in-between times: grief and loss, questions of identity and cultural belonging, life transitions, emotional exhaustion, self-worth, and relationship patterns that leave you giving too much, doing too much, or slowly fading away.

You do not need a perfect explanation for why you are here. Sometimes the first honest sentence is simply, “I cannot keep carrying it like this.”

What You Can Expect in Therapy

I am not a blank wall. I will be warm, engaged, curious, and honest with you. There is room here for sorrow, anger, contradiction, humour, silence, faith, doubt, and the parts of your story that do not fit neatly into a diagnostic box.

We will not try to turn your pain into a neat story of growth. We will slow down enough to understand what happened, what you inherited, what helped you survive, and what may not fit anymore. I can stay with you in the hard places without rushing or panicking, and I will gently help you notice where change might be possible.

Your pace matters. So does your life.

My Approach

At my core, I am humanistic and existential. Simply put, I trust that you are more than a problem to solve, and I am willing to stay with the big questions that live underneath the pain:

Who am I now? What belongs to me? What have I been taught to carry? What would it mean to live more truthfully?

Depending on what you need, we may:

  • Trace and re-author inherited stories through narrative therapy
  • Meet protective, hurting, or conflicting parts of you with curiosity through parts work
  • Explore how family, culture, power, and relationships have shaped your sense of self
  • Use mindfulness and body-based practices when grief is living beyond words
  • Reconnect with your values and take small, meaningful steps through uncertainty

My approach is collaborative, culturally aware, trauma-informed, and shaped by a sense of justice. I bring the instincts of a storyteller, the care of a witness,  and the discipline of a developing clinician.

I am especially attuned to people living between worlds, carrying family or cultural expectations, or trying to stop disappearing inside the role of “the strong one.”
