Prioritizing your mental health is one of the best decisions you can make for yourself, whether you are struggling with a specific problem or just looking to increase your overall well-being. I specialize in working with adults who experience ADHD symptoms (diagnosed or suspected), insomnia, anxiety, and mood-dysregulation. I use a flexible approach according to the needs of each client, but draw heavily from psychodynamic therapy, ACT, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (and CBT-i for insomnia), and ADHD-specific counselling/coaching.

Seeking therapy is a big step, and I commend you for taking it. Please reach out to inquire about availability or to schedule a free 15 minute consultation call. Current weekday availability, virtual and in-person. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you!

“Talk to yourself like you would to someone you love” – Berné Brown. At times, we are in a whirlwind of chaos. My goal is to help you untangle those moments to help you see your true self, which includes your strengths, struggles and life transitions. When we can see ourselves through a different lens, we may start to recognize a more authentic self, creating self-acceptance and self-love. Let’s work together to create a relationship based on trust, genuineness and acceptance.

I specialize in individual, and couples therapy. My passion lies in meeting clients where they are currently, and to walk alongside their story, struggles and successes. I will remain non-judgemental, and empathetic while utilizing empirically-proven methods, tools and resources as I see fit. I also have a trauma-informed lens. My journey in this profession took many turns and dives, which has made me more well-rounded and appreciative of change. I am eternally grateful for this journey. I was previously an instructor for an after-school program and a supervisor for programs working with children and youth in impoverished communities. As I changed professions to work in the cannabis industry, I recognized the greater need for mental health and wellness within our society. I am passionate to help clients achieve their goals and reducing mental health stigma. That’s when I made the switch. I wanted to make a greater impact on a personal level and now am working full-time as a therapist. On a personal level, I am a mother, wife and proud dog owner.

If you are experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, grief, or a disconnect from yourself or others, you do not have to go through it alone.  Starting therapy can be a powerful step towards changing your life. I am a Registered Psychotherapist who works from a trauma-informed perspective. I bring compassion and understanding to each session. I work to ensure that a safe, comfortable, and non-judgmental space is created, so you can explore your emotions and thoughts. I am trained in psychodynamic psychotherapy, but I integrate a variety of modalities to best fit your needs, including strength-based, somatic, person-centered, parts work, and mindfulness. I believe in the uniqueness of each individual and I am passionate about working collaboratively with you, to help you build resilience and reach your personal goals. I offer online therapy to adults 18+ who live anywhere in Ontario. I also offer a free virtual consultation so that we can get to know each other a bit more and to see if we are a good fit.
