About…

Parham found his interest in psychology in the last year of high school, but has been a “people person” all his life. Over the years, his curiosity about psychology and the human mind has translated to years of work in the mental health field. He has four years of experience working on Canada’s National Suicide Hotline and has supported countless individuals going through crises.

He is interested in working with adolescents and adults, focusing on a wide range of concerns but most notably perfectionism, anxiety, depression, trauma, and PTSD. A specific area of passion is men’s mental health.

His approach is client-centred, meaning that he works collaboratively with clients to develop therapeutic goals and a plan for how to work towards them. He takes best practices from CBT, ACT, mindfulness, and psychodynamic approaches, and is committed to continual learning to uniquely support you.

In his personal life, he likes to stay physically active when he is not working. He plays volleyball and does Brazilian jiu-jitsu. He also enjoys running, weightlifting, and going on hikes. His latest favourite hike is L’Acropole des Draveurs in Quebec, and some parks on his bucket list are Glacier and Yosemite in the US, Tombstone in the Yukon, and Patagonia.
