(She/Her)
My work with clients is informed by my creative work as an artist, as well as my ongoing learning of social justice and embodied anti-oppressive therapy practices. I am inspired by a non-hierarchical approach to therapy, which means that the therapy space is a collaborative space. Growth is relational-just like in nature. Therapy is a place in which to experiment, to play, to suffer with support, and to feel the impact of being witnessed as your full self.
I am a part of an expansive community of therapists that are in constant dialog with the present and past, learning from painful mistakes, and knowing that psychotherapy is composed of individuals whose fallibility has yielded creative changes and progressive therapy approaches.
The five year experiential training that I have participated in has taught me that while therapy is spontaneous, it is also rarely an immediate change. I think of therapy work as the phases of the moon, and not a light switch that is suddenly flipped on. Whichever phase you are in, I am here.
I offer 20 minute phone consultations to answer any questions you may have about what our work together could look and feel like.
