As you are the expert on you, I am committed to listening with genuine curiosity and without judgment. Informed by my background in sociology, I bring an anti-oppressive perspective to all I do. Anti-oppression work requires deep self-reflection, which we will practice in our therapy together. We may also reflect on the effects of social structures on our mental health, to keep things – and ourselves – in perspective. I aim to build an environment where you feel seen deeply as well as challenged.
Focus areas: depression, anxiety, identity, family, relationship issues, loss, LGBTQIA+, Spanish speakers, migrants, and survivors. I use an integrative approach including CBT, DBT, Narrative therapy, and trauma-informed approaches.
As a psychotherapist in training, I am here to support you. I am a student at McMaster University, a Spanish-speaking immigrant, and a parent. I am queer. I love dancing, and I am passionate about building community.
Our shared goal is to help you develop a deeper connection to yourself, and your values, the people and communities important to you.
