How do we take care of ourselves, our needs, our minds when the world is on fire? Well, the first step is not to go it alone.
Using an intersectional, politically informed, and social justice oriented approach, I don’t shy away from discussing world/political events, institutional violence, racism, xenophobia, homophobia/transphobia, and other forms of violence and oppression that might be impacting your ability to cope. With your consent, of course. Our mental wellness is also impacted by our outside experience, not just our inner world.
I offer a supportive, judgement free, harm reduction, sex positive, and inclusive space. Difficult topics and conversations are okay here. Using an eclectic balance of relational, dialectical, trauma informed, and cognative therapies with motivational interviewing and change support, my goal is to create a brave and accountable space for you to explore what supportive, understanding, boundaried relationships might look like through an array of skills and strategies.
Whether this is your first time sharing your story with someone, or the tenth, you have my full attention. Let’s connect for a consultation and see if we’re a fit.
