Sometimes people seek counselling when they feel stuck or are in crisis, when mental health symptoms are getting in the way of living life to the fullest, or even proactively to maintain strong mental health. Sometimes our relationships or life stresses feel like too much to cope with. I believe all of my clients are doing the best that they can in their situation and with the tools at their disposal. Being understood by someone who is both compassionate and supportive of personal change is one of the gifts of therapy that I hope you reach.
I approach my work with a holistic lens and foster awareness of the intersections behind individual health and social context. I pay close attention to my clients’ stories of autonomy, agency, and dignity, illuminating strengths and challenging unhelpful narratives. I believe clients deserve access to evidence-based treatment, thus I also offer ACT and CBT.
While you look for a therapist to help you find your way forward, I am happy to connect in a free consultation so you can better decide if I’m the right fit for you.
