About…

Accepting New Clients! A culturally sensitive and competent trauma informed Psychotherapist specializing in anxiety, relational trauma, acculturation challenges , self-esteem and parenting. There is a unique and powerful story for each of us that deserves to be heard and validated. I believe in meeting people where they are and walking alongside them in the journey of exploring themselves and their strengths that precede healing, restoration and growth.

I’m committed to empathetic listening and providing a safe space that is filled with genuine curiosity and a non-judgemental stance. I employ an eclectic approach that is client-centred, anti-oppressive, and culturally sensitive and draws from various theoretical orientations. I have experience working with clients struggling with substance use and related mental health disorders, survivors of sexual abuse and anxiety. My lived experience helps me understand the challenges of immigrants and  BIPOC communities and provide them with culturally appropriate skills and coping strategies for expanding their resilience.

To refuel myself, I engage in travelling, playing string instruments, Netflix crime thrillers and of course food!!
