I believe that each of us has a unique and powerful story that deserves to be heard and validated. I meet people where they are and walk alongside them in the journey of exploring themselves and their strengths that precede healing, restoration and growth. Having lived in many cities across the globe has taught me to truly appreciate the diversity in human nature and culture. I’m committed to empathetic listening and providing a safe space that is filled with genuine curiosity, a nonjudgmental stance and sometimes humour!
I work with women and young adults struggling with anxiety, burnout, stress, and relational and childhood trauma. My practice is culturally sensitive, trauma-informed, and client-centred and I employ an eclectic approach drawing from DBT, Emotion-Focused Family Therapy, ACT and Internal Family Systems and I bring along my invaluable experience working in both private and community health settings.
When I’m not in sessions, I’m a busy mom to two young children, goofing around and making memories. To refuel myself, I travel, play string instruments, watch Netflix crime thrillers and of course indulge in food!!
