Rachael welcomes a diverse range of clients seeking to improve their coping skills and become more well-adjusted. Rachael is located in Alberta but available to work virtually with clients across Canada. She employs emotion-focused and person-centred interventions in her clinical practice, specifically Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Curiosity, cultural sensitivity, and unconditional positive regard are interwoven in Rachael’s therapeutic approach. Principles of Attachment Theory are frequently consulted in her client work. Emotion regulation skills and ADHD are also key areas of focus. Rachael’s overarching goal is to motivate clients towards lasting change and to foster a drive for personal expansion and evolution. When she isn’t working, Rachael loves to travel, lose herself in a good book, or snuggle up at home with her toy poodle.
