I’m Rasheeda and I am excited to be a part of your journey. I am trustworthy, a nurturer by nature, and value collaboration and accountability, qualities I bring to my role as a therapist. My passion is for advocating and supporting clients of racialized identities and I have experience working with individuals from various ethnic and religious backgrounds. I see myself as a navigator who empowers my clients towards growth and healing. I believe psychotherapy can be messy, fun, emotional, and creative, and I strive to create a safe space where we can collaborate and explore. My approach is client-drive, inclusive, feminist, and trauma-informed. I use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and have been learning and integrating Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). My hope is to convey my genuine care for clients and support you in feeling comfortable and safe during our time together. I believe in transparency to ensure that I am building moments of trustworthiness within my sessions and welcome you to tell me how I can show up for you. I allow you to take the lead because you are the expert of your experiences.I slow down to really listen and honour your needs, values, and dreams.
