Master of Education (M.Ed.), University of Toronto, OISE – Counselling Psychology (2024 – Present)
Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Psychology with a minor in Health Studies at Queen’s University.
I am an intern therapist currently completing my Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and Psychotherapy at the University of Toronto. I previously completed my Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Psychology with a minor in Health Studies at Queen’s University.
I bring several years of frontline experience to my therapeutic work. I worked as a Case Manager for the Canadian Mental Health Association, supporting clients of all ages and diverse backgrounds in navigating mental health and social services. I am also passionate about the field of gender-based violence and previously worked as a counsellor at a violence-against-women shelter, offering trauma-informed support to both women and children. In addition to my professional roles, I have volunteered as a crisis line responder for a sexual assault crisis centre and as a group facilitator for a Living with Bipolar Disorder support group.
I approach therapy with warmth, empathy, cultural humility, and a deep respect for each client’s lived experience. I strive to create a collaborative and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and identities with safety and support.
