Sometimes we move through life sensing that something within us feels unclear, repetitive, or difficult to put into words. Feelings, behaviour, or relationship patterns may appear in ways that leave us wondering why they keep returning.
Therapy offers a space to slow down and explore these experiences with curiosity and care, opening the possibility of understanding yourself more deeply.
A bit about myself:
I offer a calm and welcoming environment where clients can feel at ease and supported. My gentle presence and attentive listening help create a space where experiences can be explored with depth. I bring over 10 years of experience in the mental health field, helping people build self-awareness and find relief from ongoing emotional challenges.
My approach:
My work draws on psychoanalytic and psychodynamic approaches to gently explore how past experiences shape your present and how these patterns emerge in relationships, including in therapy.
Therapy can be transformative because it’s one of the few places where you don’t have to perform or meet expectations—you can simply be yourself, met with compassion instead of judgment, and begin to develop deeper self-understanding and lasting change.
I support people navigating:
Anxiety and depression
Unresolved trauma
Loneliness
Disorientation
Building a life in a new country
Cultural differences
If you feel weighted down by any of those problems, you are not alone!
These experiences are more common than they may feel right now. Seeking belonging amid the unfamiliar is something I feel deeply connected to, as it is also part of my own journey.
As a training therapist working under close clinical supervision, I offer affordable and virtual psychotherapy sessions in Portuguese and English from Toronto, Ontario. I offer a sliding scale and have some low cost spots available. If this feels right for you, I invite you to book a free 30-minute consultation to explore whether we’re a good fit.
