About me

Sometimes life feels heavier than you expected.

You might find yourself lying awake at night replaying conversations, worrying about the future, or wondering if you’re doing enough, for your children, your family, or yourself. Anxiety can pull you into endless “what-ifs.” Parenting may feel more overwhelming than anyone prepared you for. Relationships that once felt secure may now leave you feeling drained, misunderstood, or unsure of your place.

You don’t have to navigate these moments alone.

I’m Reyhane Sheikh, a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology. I offer a warm, thoughtful space where you can slow down, feel heard, and begin to make sense of what you’re going through.

Therapy with me is not about quick fixes or being told what to do.

It is a collaborative process where we gently explore what’s happening beneath the surface, your emotions, patterns, relationships, and the experiences that shaped them.

My Background

Before becoming a therapist, I spent 14 years working as a teacher, and I am also a mother of two. These experiences deeply shape the way I support families and young people.

I understand firsthand how challenging it can be to support children while also managing your own emotional world. I have seen how anxiety, stress, and life transitions affect not only individuals, but entire families.

This perspective allows me to support clients with both professional insight and real-life understanding.

Sessions are available online or in person in Toronto.

I offer therapy in English and Farsi.
