I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, currently completing my Master of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. I am a kind and genuine student with a deep passion for helping others. I find immense value in understanding each person’s unique story, recognizing that every experience carries profound meaning. Having navigated my own personal trauma, I truly appreciate the strength and resilience it takes to seek counseling. My intention is to foster a warm and empathetic environment that strengthens the therapeutic relationship and encourages clients to express themselves openly. I am committed to ensuring that my clients feel valued and safe as we work through their challenges at their own pace.
I believe my experience uniquely qualifies me to provide valuable support and guidance to those navigating the complexities of recovery. I offer empathy and compassion to individuals in these situations, understanding the fear, uncertainty, and hope that accompany such a journey. I am here to provide my understanding and care.
I have a special interest in brain injuries and grief. My passion for working with individuals who have suffered brain injuries stems from my own personal experience. This life-changing event has deepened my understanding of the challenges and emotional struggles that individuals face in similar circumstances.
