Sometimes, all we need is to have someone be there with us, to share the difficulties that life often holds, and to provide a warm space within which we can thrive. With an empathetic and person-centered approach to therapy, I will dedicate myself to providing a therapeutic space where you can feel heard, seen, and understood. Through therapy together I hope that you can find the hope and meaning you need to heal as an individual and build the lasting change that you would like to work towards.
I work with diverse client populations, including children, adults, and couples, and favor person-centered approaches in my practice. In particular, I have a strong interest in Emotionally Focused therapy, and using narrative approaches to connect with clients and their struggles. I am also familiar with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as a supporting focus, and am happy to use a more CBT-driven approach if it provides a good fit with you.
I am a psychotherapist in training, currently working on completing my practicum for my Master’s degree in Counselling Psychotherapy from Yorkville University, and a student member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association and an RP (Qualifying) registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).
