Seeking help is difficult – it involves showing up with our most private and intimate experiences. It requires us to be vulnerable but also courageous. If you are here, you have already taken a big first step!
My goal is to create a space where you can feel safe and comfortable to share what you wish, and explore other ways of being that help you be your most authentic self. I offer you a compassionate and a judgement-free space. I am here to walk alongside you!
I am passionate about working with clients that are experiencing depression, anxiety, relationship issues, life transitions, grief and trauma, and immigration issues. I also support neurodiverse children and teens (ADHD and Autistic) in a neuro-affirming way.
I use an eclectic approach to counselling, pulling from different perspectives to help you navigate life and its challenges. Some of these perspectives may include taking a look at how your thoughts influence the way you feel, rewriting your life story, accepting that life can include both painful and joyful moments, finding short or medium term solutions to your problems, and/or getting creative with your brain and soul, and mindful with your body. I believe the best therapy takes place when it incorporates interventions that make sense to you!
Besides helping people, I enjoy going for long walks in the River Valley with my rescued dog, reading, listening to podcasts and discovering new coffeeshops in Edmonton.
If you think I am a good fit for what you are looking for, feel free to email me. We can schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation to chat further about counselling and your needs.
