Do you feel overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or stuck in patterns that make it difficult to feel connected or move forward? Many youth, young adults, and families experience times when life feels overwhelming, relationships become difficult, or past experiences make it harder to cope. Therapy can provide a space where you do not have to navigate these experiences alone.
As a Clinical Intern completing a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University, I strive to create a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients feel safe to be themselves. I believe therapy should feel collaborative, genuine, and responsive to the person sitting across from me. Together, we can explore the emotions, experiences, and patterns affecting your well-being while building on your existing strengths and developing practical skills that support your therapeutic goals.
My approach is trauma-informed, strength-based, and integrative, drawing from DBT, person-centred, narrative, mindfulness-based, solution-focused, and creative approaches such as Sand Tray Therapy. I support children, youth, adults, and families navigating anxiety, trauma, stress, burnout, family conflict, relationship difficulties, emotional overwhelm, self-harm, and life transitions. I tailor sessions to each client’s individual needs, preferences, and goals, recognizing that therapy does not look the same for everyone.
I am honoured to be an ally of BIPOC, 2SLGBTQIAP, and Indigenous communities and have experience supporting clients with concerns related to sexuality, polyamory and consensual non-monogamy (CNM), kink, and BDSM.
Starting therapy can feel daunting, and it is okay if you are not sure where to begin. In our first session, we will start exploring what brought you to therapy, what you would like to work toward, and what you need from the therapeutic process. We will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you, with the goal of helping you feel supported and empowered as you move forward.
