About…

There are times in life when we feel confused, lost, or anxious and something is amiss. There is a flood of feelings and thoughts, and you don’t quite understand it. Sometimes, it is due to a recent life event, like a new job, becoming a new parent, losing a loved one, or moving places. Other times, it could be an underlying feeling that you have lived with forever and can’t put a finger on what is wrong. By seeking help, you are taking the first step towards self-growth and
understanding.

As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)/Therapy Intern I can help you overcome your struggles, be kinder towards yourself, understand yourself better, and learn how to communicate your emotional needs and boundaries to others.

My background and lived experiences have enabled me to work from a trauma-informed, strength-based, and culturally sensitive approach to therapy. I help people cope with anxiety, depression (including postpartum depression), work-related stress, relationship issues, self-esteem, and issues related to migration and settlement. Together, we will uncover the underlying emotions, negative thoughts, and beliefs that may be contributing to your struggles. We will work on identifying coping strategies that can help you in your unique situation. I will help you tend to those wounds that have been overlooked for a long time.

Healing and growth can be intimidating process, and I applaud you for taking the first step toward it. I encourage you to connect with me for a free 15-minute phone consultation to understand what the process of therapy may look like for you, and how I can help you with your specific needs and issues.
